Mix a few drops of mild dish soap (like Dawn) into a bowl of warm water. 2. Dip a soft, lint-free cloth into the soapy water and gently rub the jewelry. 3. Rinse the jewelry in a second bowl of clean warm water or under a gentle stream of running water. 5. Pat dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
Anti-Tarnish Strips/Tabs: These small pieces of treated paper or polymer absorb sulfur compounds in the air that cause tarnish. You place one inside an airtight container (such as a zip-top bag or a small plastic box) with your bezels. They typically last up to 12 months once placed in storage.
Anti-Tarnish Bags: These are specialized, opaque zip-lock bags (often copper-colored) that are made with anti-tarnish material embedded directly into the plastic, providing two layers of protection (the bag itself and the airtight seal).
Anti-Tarnish Cloth: Fabric, such as Pacific Silvercloth®, which is embedded with silver particles to absorb corrosive gases, can be purchased by the yard to line your own storage boxes or drawers.

Cleaning Your Stainless Steel Chains

Your stainless steel chain is the hero of your low-maintenance jewelry! Because it's designed to be strong as heck and tarnish-free, it rarely needs deep cleaning. If your chain looks dull, simply wipe it with a soft cloth and a few drops of mild dish soap (like Dawn) in warm water, then pat dry thoroughly.
