The Ultimate Guide to My Interchangeable Necklace System
Style Your Way: Understanding My Chain System
One of the things I love most about designing jewelry is creating pieces that work with your lifestyle and your style. That's why I've built my entire collection around an interchangeable chain system that gives you maximum versatility and endless styling options.
Whether you're new to my collection or a longtime customer, this guide will help you understand how my chains work and how to get the most out of your handmade jewelry.
Three Ways to Wear Your Pendants
1. Adjustable Chains with Circular Toggle Closures
My adjustable chains are designed for ultimate versatility. Each one features a circular, hammered stainless bead with a rubber inner tube, letting you wear your pendant at multiple lengths. Slide the toggle through different links to adjust from choker-length to longer styles.
Perfect for: Customers who love options and want to style the same piece multiple ways depending on their outfit or neckline.
2. Non-Adjustable Chains with Lobster Clasps
If you prefer a fixed length, my non-adjustable chains come with secure lobster claw clasps. These are available in specific lengths so you can choose precisely the drop you want for your pendant.
Perfect for: Customers who know their preferred necklace length and want a classic, streamlined look.
3. Slide Your Pendant onto Any Chain You Already Own
Will My Pendant Fit on My Chain?
One of the most common questions I get is: "Is the bail big enough to fit on my chain?" The answer is almost always yes! Every pendant I create features a large, generous bail measuring 1/4" in width, designed to accommodate most chain styles, including:
- Thick rope chains
- Omega chains
- Gemstone bead chains (like aventurine, jade, or turquoise)
- Box chains
- Cable chains
- Snake chains
The bail opening is intentionally sized to work with a variety of chain thicknesses, giving you maximum flexibility. If you have a specific chain you'd like to use and you're unsure about compatibility, feel free to message me with a photo or description – I'm always happy to confirm the fit before you purchase!
Here's the beauty of my design: every pendant features a large bail that's compatible with any stainless steel chain you already have in your jewelry box. You don't need to buy one of my chains to wear my pendants!
Simply slide the pendant onto your favorite chain, and you're ready to go. This makes my pendants incredibly versatile and easy to integrate into your existing collection.
Perfect for: Customers who want to mix and match with chains they already love, or layer multiple pendants on one chain.

Why Stainless Steel?
All of my chains are crafted from high-quality Stainless Steel because it's:
- Hypoallergenic – gentle on sensitive skin
- Tarnish-resistant – maintains its shine without constant polishing
- Water-resistant – designed to be worn every day. "You can wear your chain in the shower, but please take your pendant off. I don't want you to ruin or cloud up your beautiful lampwork glass beads or any beads."
This jewelry is built to be worn, not stored. I stand behind every piece I make.
How to Choose the Right Chain
Consider your pendant size: Larger, statement pendants look beautiful on adjustable chains that can be worn longer. Smaller pendants work well at any length.
Think about your wardrobe: If you wear a lot of different necklines, an adjustable chain gives you the flexibility to change your look daily.
Mix and match: Many customers own multiple chains in different styles and swap their pendants between them. Since every pendant works with every chain, you can create dozens of looks from just a few pieces.
Care & Maintenance
Because I use premium Stainless Steel, your chains require minimal care. For cleaning tips and to keep your jewelry looking its best, check out my Designer's Secret Care Guide (linked in the FAQs).
