How are your pendants made?

Every Bead Dangle Design pendant is crafted with premium stainless steel components, including wire, chain, accent beads, and jump rings. Stainless steel is an exceptionally durable metal that resists tarnishing and discoloration. I also incorporate rhodium plating for added protection against tarnish. To keep your jewelry looking beautiful, avoid wearing it in the shower—proper care ensures it will last for years to come.

How do I clean my pendants?

Cleaning your pendants is simple—just wipe them gently with a soft jewelry polishing cloth, which you can find online. Since all my jewelry is made with tarnish-resistant stainless steel and rhodium, maintenance is minimal. If you'd like to add extra shine to pewter beads, a jewelry cloth works perfectly.

Where should I store my pendants?

For optimal care of your pendants and all your jewelry, I recommend storing them in soft jewelry bags that protect against air exposure and prevent tarnishing. These bags are available in various sizes online. Shop jewelry storage bags here.

Can I wear my pendant in the shower?

I recommend removing all jewelry except wedding rings before showering. Since Bead Dangle Design jewelry is typically worn over clothing, it's easy to remember: when you change your clothes, remove your jewelry, too.

How long have you been in business?

I launched Bead Dangle Design online in 2013. I travel throughout the country participating in art festivals and craft shows, and I created this website so customers can shop anytime—whether you've met me at a show or discovered my work online.

How long does shipping take?

I typically ship orders the same business day they're received (orders placed in the evening or on Sunday ship the next business day). Your package should arrive within 2-3 business days, and tracking information is now included with every shipment.

Where do you source your beads?

I purchase beads from artisan designers around the world. As a handmade artist, I'm passionate about supporting fellow makers. Many of the beads I use are handcrafted, making each pendant truly unique. While my hand-beaded pieces are one-of-a-kind, I can recreate similar designs if the beads are available.

Do you make all your pendants yourself?

Yes! Bead Dangle Design is a one-woman operation. I personally hand-select every bead and create every pendant myself. You could say I'm a bit particular about my craft—the pendant you choose was made by me, just for you.

What is your return policy?

Mix a few drops of mild dish soap (like Dawn) into a bowl of warm water. 2. Dip a soft, lint-free cloth into the soapy water and gently rub the jewelry. 3. Rinse the jewelry in a second bowl of clean warm water or under a gentle stream of running water. 5. Pat dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.

Anti-Tarnish Strips/Tabs: These small pieces of treated paper or polymer absorb sulfur compounds in the air that cause tarnish. You place one inside an airtight container (such as a zip-top bag or a small plastic box) with your bezels. They typically last up to 12 months once placed in storage.

Anti-Tarnish Bags: These are specialized, opaque zip-lock bags (often copper-colored) that are made with anti-tarnish material embedded directly into the plastic, providing two layers of protection (the bag itself and the airtight seal).

Anti-Tarnish Cloth: Fabric, such as Pacific Silvercloth®, which is embedded with silver particles to absorb corrosive gases, can be purchased by the yard to line your own storage boxes or drawers.

Cleaning Your Stainless Steel Chains

Your stainless steel chain is the hero of your low-maintenance jewelry! Because it's designed to be strong as heck and tarnish-free, it rarely needs deep cleaning. If your chain looks dull, simply wipe it with a soft cloth and a few drops of mild dish soap (like Dawn) in warm water, then pat dry thoroughly. No scrubbing or special chemicals needed—it's truly built to be worn and loved.
